So my girlfriend and I came to a horrible conclusion the other day. Gyro and the Mad Ducktor (his evil alter ego from the Topolino comics) are basically the Once-ler.

Dang. Dang it, I'm amazed at how nice this art is and how the comparison between those two (four?) is kind of accurate. Only difference is Onceler goes power corrupt and Gyro just had an accident (plus different goals and motives). Nice Work!
